Who am I?

I've been interested in photography for many years. My first camera, back in the 1960s, was a Praktika Nova B. In the 1970s I switched to a Nikkormat camera.

When I was teaching English in a secondary school I frequently used my own slides in my language classes and I even produced several sets of slides for the teaching of English and French, which met with a modicum of success in the 1980s.

A few years ago I took up photography again, with my first digital camera, an Olympus Camedia. In February 2010 I acquired a Pentax K20D which has most of the SLR functionality I used to have back in my SLR photo practise. That K20D was replaced by a Pentax K-5 in december 2010.

Thanks to my talented daughter Cali for my digital portrait on the right.
